The section is named about us, but FoodNouveau.com
is mostly a one-woman-show for now. I am a professional
web designer, a translation student,
and I happen to be passionate about cooking. This
site was meant to satisfy your eyes as well as your imagination: the site is packed with illustrated recipes that will inspire you, as well as with a lot of tips, cooking lessons and reference charts.
This
site relies entirely on the extraordinary talent
of the professionals who publish cookbooks every year.
I never studied in cooking and I consider that
I still have a lot to learn, so I would never
dare to dictate my advice to people coming on the site. Fortunately a lot of men and women are
much more experienced than I am. I have selected
recipes and articles from books and past magazines
for the benefit of everybody that are as passionate
about cooking as I am. After each recipe and
article, you will find the book
or magazine in which it was found.
Now,
if you really appreciate the recipes, I strongly
encourage you to support the authors and to buy
their books, because I will never put the entire
content of a book on the site. I guarantee you will be satisfied with each
book because they have all been selected for
the quality of their recipes and photos.
