BAGEL
CHIPS
Traditionally,
bagels do not contain fat or animal products;
these are the correct ones to use for this
recipe.
4 bagels
3 teaspoons monounsaturated or polyunsaturated
oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
Using a serrated
or electric knife, cut bagels into very
thin slices. Place slices in single layer
on oven trays; lightly brush one side of
each slice with combined oil, garlic and
oregano.
Bake in moderately
slow oven for about 15 minutes or until
lightly browned; cool chips on trays.
