IN VANILLA PORT
1/4
cup sugar
3/4 cup quality port
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 figs, halved
Place
the sugar, port and vanilla in a frying
pan over low heat and stir until the sugar
has dissolved. Allow to simmer for 1 minute.
Place figs in serving bowls and pour the
vanilla port over them. Serve with thick
cream or toffee ice cream.
