CHOCOLATE BASKET FOR TWO

After the big dinner, get cozy over this big dessert for two. The chocolate cups are also a stunning way to serve fresh fruit.

4 ounces semisweet chocolate
6 small scoops (about 3/4 cup total) chocolate, coffee, and/or butter pecan frozen yogurt
2 teaspoons amaretto liqueur
1 ounce semisweet chocolate, melted (2 squares)

Cut two 6-inch squares of parchment or waxed paper; set aside. Place the 4 ounces chocolate in a small heavy saucepan. Heat over low heat just until melted, stirring constantly. Spread half of the melted chocolate on each square, forming a 5- to 5 1/2-inch circle. Place each chocolate-covered square in a small bowl or dish to shape the chocolate into an irregular cup shape.

Refrigerate cups for 30 minutes or until set. Carefully peel the paper from the chocolate cups.

To serve, place each chocolate cup on a dessert plate. Place three scoops of frozen yogurt in each cup. Drizzle with liqueur and the 1 ounce melted chocolate. Serve immediately.

Makes 2 cups (4 servings).
