IN THE WEST BEANS

pound lean ground beef
8 slices turkey bacon, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
4 cans (15 ounces each) large white lima
or butter beans, drained
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
2 teaspoons molasses
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat
oven to 350°F. In large ovenproof skillet,
over medium heat, brown meat; drain. Add
bacon and onion; cook about 5 minutes, until
onion is soft. Stir in beans, ketchup, barbecue
sauce, sugars, mustard, molasses, chili
powder and pepper.

Bake,
uncovered, for about 45 minutes, until hot and
bubbly.
