GRILLED
PROSCIUTTO SANDWICHES
4
slices sourdough or Turkish bread
Butter
3 bocconcini, sliced
2 tablespoons basil leaves
8-12 slices prosciutto
1/2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Cracked black pepper
Figs and rocket (arugula) leaves to serve
Place
sourdough slices under a preheated grill
on medium heat and toast one side. Turn
the bread and spread with butter. Top with
bocconcini, basil, prosciutto, parmesan
and pepper and place under the grill for
1 minute or until the parmesan has melted
and prosciutto is crisp.
Serve
the grilled sandwiches with figs and rocket
(arugula) leaves.
