DELUXE CHEESEBURGERS

1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth, defatted
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 pound well-trimmed top round, cut into large chunks
1/4 pound ground turkey breast
1/4 cup plain dried bread crumbs
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
4 hamburger buns
1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
4 thick slices of tomato

In small saucepan, over medium heat, cook broth, onion and garlic, about 5 minutes, until all liquid is absorbed; set aside.

Meanwhile, preheat the broiler. In food processor, pulse beef until coarsely ground. In medium bowl, combine ground beef, turkey, bread crumbs, 2 tablespoons of the chili sauce, pepper and cooled onion mixture; form into 4 patties. Broil burgers 3 to 4 inches from inches from the heat for 8 minutes, until cooked through, turning once. Sprinkle Swiss cheese on burgers; broil 30 seconds to melt cheese.

Broil hamburger buns for 30 seconds, until lightly toasted. Place buns on 4 plates; top with lettuce, tomato and a burger. Top burger with the remaining 2 tablespoons chili sauce and serve.
