ALCOHOL
ALTERNATIVES
What
to substitute and when
Liqueurs,
spirits, and wines create distinctive flavors
in foods. But cooking is a creative venture to
satisfy specific tastes and need not necessarily
include the use of alcohol. So don't be afraid
to tinker a bit with the alcohol substitutes we've
listed here. Whenever possible, we've given alternatives
to extracts.
